A shared template, or a pack made for your name?
There are three common ways to dress a stream. Each one is right for someone. Here is what each does well, and what it does not.
Swipe the table sideways to see every column.
| Glowframe pack | Free theme | Bought template | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | $39 Starter, paid once | Free | A one-time price set by each seller |
| Your name in the design | Designed around it | Typed over the theme | Typed over the template |
| Same look as other channels | No, generated for your order | Yes, anyone can pick it | Yes, every buyer gets it |
| Alerts linked to your account | No: you get alert designs to use in your alert tool | Often yes, through the platform's own alert service | Depends on the template |
| Choice before buying | 3 designs you see after payment (free preview with a sample pack) | Browse and pick | Browse and pick |
| Ready to use | A few minutes after payment | Right away | Right away after download |
When the free option is the better pick
If you are just starting and want alerts that fire on their own with no setup, a free theme from your alert service does that at no cost. Glowframe does not connect to your account.
When a human designer is the better pick
If you need a logo, emotes, a mascot or an avatar, hire a designer: Glowframe does not draw them. Expect a quote and some back-and-forth, and a result nobody else can make.
When Glowframe fits
You want scenes that carry your name and look like nobody else's, you want them tonight, and you are fine pasting links into OBS Studio or Streamlabs Desktop. See it first in the live demo or the sample pack.
Your channel name, on overlays nobody else has
Type your channel name, pick a pack, and paste your scenes into OBS Studio or Streamlabs Desktop a few minutes later.
